At Topaz Legal, we specialise in conveyancing and property legal services across NSW and the ACT. We take the time to understand what matters to each client, explain the issues clearly and help make complex property decisions easier to navigate.
Fiona Wilkinson
Principal Solicitor
Fiona holds a degree in Property Economics and a Juris Doctor in Law. Her background means she approaches property from more than one perspective: the contract matters, but so do the property itself, its position in the market, value for money and the client’s own objectives.
This broader property perspective helps Fiona focus on the practical question behind the legal work: what does this transaction mean for the client, and what risks or issues should they understand before making a decision?
Fiona has also worked in strata management. That experience gives her practical insight into how strata schemes operate and what to look for when reviewing strata material, including signs of financial, maintenance or management issues that may not be obvious at first glance.
Nana
Conveyancing Lawyer
Nana began her legal career in contract law and has spent the past several years working exclusively in NSW conveyancing. She now works on conveyancing matters in both NSW and the ACT.
She is meticulous, calm under pressure and dependable, with a strong sense of integrity and a high level of emotional intelligence. These qualities are particularly valuable in property transactions, where clients may be making significant financial decisions under tight timeframes.
When Nana joined Topaz Legal, one of the things that mattered most to her was having enough time to understand each client and their particular circumstances. Fiona and Nana share the view that good conveyancing should not operate like a production line. Property matters can develop unexpected issues, and lawyers need the time and flexibility to investigate them properly, explain the options and respond to what the client actually needs.
Nana is currently completing a Master of Laws, majoring in Property Law. She is also fluent in Levantine Arabic.
Erica
Administrative Assistant
Erica has been an Administrative Assistant with Topaz Legal for the past two years and plays an important role in keeping matters organised and moving towards settlement.
Much of Erica’s work happens behind the scenes. She checks forms and supporting documents, liaises with banks and other parties, reviews settlement figures and helps make sure the information needed for settlement is in place.
Erica is kind, capable and highly efficient. Her attention to detail and steady support are an important part of the way the Topaz Legal team works, and we rely on her heavily throughout the settlement process.
